Favourite surfers: So many to choose from. Impressed by Shakira Westhorp at Cloudbreak at the 2016 ISA Worlds.

Other Activities: Yoga, Pilates, Fitness classes at Treviglas College. Not much time to do anything out of the sea, so my life is mostly Shortboarding, Longboarding and Stand Up Paddling!

Music you listen to before events: Bit of everything!

Favourite suit:  Gul Viper, it’s amazing

Why do you wear Gul Suits: Top performance wetsuits for surfing made by a reputable British brand which keep me toasty warm in the cold British waters. I spend all my free time in the sea so I need to have the best wetsuit to live in, it’s my number one item of clothing!

BIO:

Having grown up near Manchester, away from the sea, I made a late entrance into competitive surfing at 28 years old. At first, it was just to help improve my surfing and to learn from the best surfers in Britain. But the competition lifestyle has me hooked and so many experiences have been opened up to me that I never thought were possible for me. I’m currently in my fifth year of competing, in Short, Long and Standup Paddleboard surfing and have exceeded my expectations.  There have been some respectable results so far, notably winning the Fistral Longboard women's open in April 2018 and coming 2nd overall in the British Longboard Union series. Plus winning the BSUPA National Sup Surf title twice in 2016 and 2015 leading me to compete for Team England in EuroSup 2016 and Team GB in the ISA Worlds in Fiji and Denmark. When I first stood on a surfboard at 18 I knew it would change my life and that I would surf for the rest of my life, until I can’t stand up anymore!
