Surfers across Europe really were treated to an amazing spring like weather system at the end of February. Sunshine, mild offshore winds and back to back long period swells graced the shores all over Europe. Here in Cornwall surfers had a spring in there step as for a week-long swell between head and triple overhead relentlessly marched to shore being groomed by a perfect offshore wind and blue skies. Nearly all of the beaches on the north coast of Cornwall had a moment during the week where the waves were on fire.
I did not see much need to venture further than my local, Fistral beach. It really is an incredibly consistent and reliable beach break which can handle one to fifteen foot waves perfectly through all the tides making it the premier location for top competitions. Fistral beach was on fire for a week straight!
Egor is seen here wearing the Gul 2019 Viper which combines our exclusive FX-LITE neoprene with BOLTDRY X thermal insulation and razor thin Liquid Seams. Seamless AQUA-RING wrists give the Viper a comfortable, snug seal, which minimises arm flushing. An inspiring favourite with our team riders as shown - Gul Technical Design Team.
