BIO:

I am an Australian surfer based in Manly. I have been lucky enough to have surfing in my life from a young age and grew up surrounded by people with an enthusiasm for waves, adventure and travel. After competing on the Australasian Junior series from ages 16-20, I pursued a free surfing career, which led to some amazing experiences. I experienced real power on the North Shore of Hawaii where I was (am) lucky enough to visit on multiple occasions and stay with my coach at the time, Barton Lynch. A few good ones at Pipe and Sunset, some very scary ones at maxed out Makaha and big Waimea (my 8'6 felt much smaller than an 8'6 ever, ever should) and some great tow surfing experiences are etched in my mind forever! I've also had the pleasure of traveling through Fiji, Indonesia, Samoa, the Maldives, had some amazing waves in New Zealand and of course all around (the surfable) coast of Australia. I have built a skillset alongside my surfing that allows me to physically rehabilitate myself and others, so I can always pursue and enjoy surfing as broadly as possible, and help others do the same in their chosen pursuits. My recent campaign on the WQS started well with a 13th place in my first event back, and I'm looking forward to surfing and competing internationally on the WQS through 2019 and beyond.
